Calvary Coastal Fellowship aims to be a "body ministry" where all in the fellowship are encouraged to find and exercise the ministry God has prepared for them. We are affiliated to the Calvary Chapel network of churches in New Zealand, sharing with them a high regard for God's word and a strong focus on teaching it (both in Sunday morning meetings and our other ministries).
It is our desire to serve the greater Hibiscus Coast Area by providing a place where believers in Jesus Christ can gather to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. We seek to do this in a way that is true to His word and, consequently, place a strong emphasis on the teaching of the Bible. At the same time, we earnestly desire that God should move in and amongst us by His Holy Spirit, according to His word, to enable and to empower us to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ.
We desire to see multitudes come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and we beseech God to give us the opportunity, the ability and the power to reach the lost in our area, in New Zealand and abroad.
We also have a heart for the nation of Israel, for which God has a special purpose. It is our desire to bless the Jews by sharing Yeshua as the Messiah.
We want to know God and His love. We want to share that love with each other and with those outside.
We are sadly mindful of the fact that we live in times when deception is rife in the church and we pray that God would give us discernment to be vigilant against the same.
